Job Requirements
- must be in good physical health and capable of performing the essential duties of the role, including standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and carrying luggage up to 40 pounds, and pushing or maneuvering rolling bell carts efficiently and safely
Job Qualifications
- previous experience in hotels or hospitality, particularly in a bell attendant or concierge role is highly desirable, as is experience in customer service
- holds a current, valid driver's license
- a commercial driver's license (cdl) is preferred, allowing for safe operation of company vehicles when transporting guests or performing resort errands
- demonstrates exceptional verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with guests thoughtfully and respectfully
- ability to listen actively, convey information clearly, and build rapport with guests and team members
- maintains calmness and patience in high-pressure situations or when handling difficult guests, ensuring a positive and courteous experience throughout all interactions
- works cooperatively with guest services, front desk, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- demonstrates a positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong sense of accountability
- maintains a neat, well-groomed, and professional appearance at all times, reflecting the elevated standards of the resort
- exhibits a warm, friendly, and approachable personality that fosters positive guest interactions
- possesses strong, meticulous attention to detail and ability to multitask
- demonstrates the ability to quickly learn job responsibilities and adapt to changing demands

Job Duties
- greet guests with a warm, professional demeanor using Forbes and Mirbeau-approved language
- open doors, offer welcome drinks, and create a polished first impression upon arrival
- escort guests to their rooms, confirm room keys, and provide an in-room orientation
- give tours of the property and provide resort maps, brochures, and information on amenities and local events attractions
- assist with luggage handling at check-in, check-out, or upon request
- deliver special items after guest arrival (eg, gifts, flowers, packages) and accommodate in-room requests throughout the stay
- provide thoughtful, proactive assistance to ensure a seamless guest experience
- transport guests safely to and from the resort in company vehicles
- maintain radio contact with the property when off-site
- ensure company vehicles are clean, fueled, and properly maintained (oil, water checks)
- handle guest laundry and dry-cleaning needs
- offer resort and area recommendations, upsell services, and always find an answer to guest questions
- communicate guest needs, complaints, or unusual situations promptly to the appropriate department or manager
- keep the bell stand, bell closet, lobby, and entryways clean, organized, and stocked
- maintain front desk restroom cleanliness and ensure it is well stocked
- perform light maintenance and cleaning as needed: vacuum, sweep, mop, and shovel during winter
- check housekeeping closets for used trays/dishes and remove them when necessary
- polish bell carts regularly to maintain a polished appearance
- print and organize daily arrivals reports for greeting guests
- log and store lost and found items
- report low room supplies or equipment issues to the appropriate department
- attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
- contribute ideas to improve service and guest experience
- perform additional duties as assigned by management
