The role of Hybrid Bell Attendant - Concierge at Hyatt at Olive 8 is a unique and dynamic position designed for professionals who thrive on making excellent first and last impressions. This Guest Services Agent position blends the traditional functions of a Bell Desk attendant with select concierge services, allowing the employee to engage meaningfully with guests while providing comprehensive support throughout their stay. Primarily focused on bell services, the role involves welcoming guests on arrival, assisting with luggage, coordinating transportation, and maintaining close communication with various hotel departments such as the Front Desk and Valet. This ensures a smooth and seamless arrival and departure experience for guests.
In addition to the bell attendant duties, the guest services agent acts as a vital representative in the hotel's lobby, helping foster a safe, professional, and inviting environment. This requires a proactive approach in engaging with guests and visitors, addressing any potential issues with discretion and confidence, and partnering with the Security team when necessary. This position offers an hourly rate between $27.50 and $28.05, with the starting rate at $27.50 per hour and a higher established rate available for tenured colleagues with four or more years of service. Additional earnings can be made through guest gratuities, recognizing the importance of attentive and personalized service. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hospitality or guest services preferred
- ability to lift moderate weight and stand for extended periods
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- knowledge of Seattle area and local attractions
- ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
