Job Description

Known for its commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction, Hyatt at Olive 8 has been recognized as a Great Place to Work in the U.S. for twelve consecutive years. This prestigious establishment blends modern luxury with personalized service, making it a preferred choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and an exceptional hospitality experience. Hyatt's global reputation for quality and its dedication to fostering a positive work culture allow employees to bring their whole selves to work, ensuring a vibrant and rewarding environment. Equipped with upscale amenities and located near Seattle’s major attractions, Hyatt at Olive 8 ensures guests receive a seamless and memorable stay.

The Hybrid Bell Attendant - Concierge, also referred to as the Guest Services Agent, is a pivotal role within the hotel. This position uniquely merges traditional bell desk responsibilities with select concierge services to deliver a comprehensive guest experience. The role focuses primarily on welcoming guests upon arrival, assisting with luggage, arranging transportation, and maintaining clear communication with key hotel departments such as Front Desk and Valet. The Guest Services Agent acts as the hotel’s welcoming face, ensuring each guest's arrival and departure are smooth and enjoyable.

In addition to providing bell services, this role requires a proactive engagement with guests to foster a safe, comfortable, and inviting lobby atmosphere. The individual must confidently and discreetly handle situations that may arise in the absence of immediate security presence, exercising sound judgment and collaborating closely with the Security team. Furthermore, the agent offers concierge-style support by sharing their knowledge of Seattle, providing guest-focused recommendations for local dining, entertainment, and transportation tailored to personal preferences.

This hybrid role offers frequent opportunities for meaningful interaction with guests, enabling the delivery of thoughtful service that exceeds expectations. The position is ideal for someone who delights in making great first and last impressions while sharing their enthusiasm for Seattle with visitors. Hyatt at Olive 8 values colleagues who are passionate about hospitality and who thrive in fast-paced environments where attention to detail and dedication are paramount.

The remuneration for this position ranges from $27.50 per hour to $28.05 per hour, with the latter rate applicable to colleagues with four or more years in the role at Hyatt. Additional earnings are possible through discretionary gratuities from guests. The hotel also provides a comprehensive benefits package and numerous perks designed to support employees both professionally and personally. With a culture that encourages excellence and a strong emphasis on employee well-being, Hyatt at Olive 8 offers a fulfilling career opportunity for individuals dedicated to superior guest service and hospitality excellence.
