Job Requirements

  • Ability to communicate verbally in English
  • Ability to deal with customers requiring patience and diplomacy
  • Ability to read English to handle luggage tags and claim checks
  • Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs continuously
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit as needed during shift
  • Manual dexterity in one hand to load and unload luggage
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and walk significant distances
  • Maintain neat and clean appearance
  • Education equivalent to high school graduation or combination of education and experience
  • Prior guest service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Additional language skills preferred

  • Sufficient manual dexterity to load and unload luggage
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, and kneeling
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent preferred
  • Prior guest service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Additional language skills preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome
  • Remain calm and attentive during heavy hotel activity and emergencies
  • Retrieve guest items from vehicles and transport luggage to guest rooms
  • Write claim tickets and match luggage tags accurately
  • Escort customers to accommodations and point out room features
  • Provide directions and assistance throughout the hotel
  • Deliver messages, packages, VIP packets, and mail to designated rooms
  • Maintain cleanliness of carts and bell closet
  • Answer Bell desk phone and provide information as needed
  • Assist with guest and employee safety during emergency situations
