Job Description

ABS Kids is a leading organization dedicated to supporting children with autism and their families through evidence-based behavior analysis services. With a mission centered around creating meaningful impact at every step of a child’s development, ABS Kids values diversity, inclusion, and a culture where every individual’s story is heard and celebrated. The company is committed to equal employment opportunities and fostering a supportive environment where all employees and clients can thrive. ABS Kids is renowned for empowering its team members with the resources, training, and continuous education required to deliver exceptional and compassionate care to children with special needs.

At ABS Kids, the role of a behavioral care professional involves working directly with children on the autism spectrum, implementing individualized behavior plans crafted by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). This position emphasizes hands-on, one-on-one support in various environments, including client homes, ensuring clients’ safety, progress, and overall well-being. Employees receive competitive compensation ranging from $19.50 to $24.00 per hour and are eligible for a $500 bonus after 90 days of employment. Additional increases are available for those with RBT certification. The position supports professional growth through paid training, reimbursed mileage for travel, and access to a 401(k) with company match. Paid time off is accrued with every hour worked, bolstering employee work-life balance.

This role demands a high level of energy, creativity, and dependability, as well as physical stamina to move quickly and frequently get up and down off the floor. It also requires technological competence for data collection and office software use. The role offers a unique opportunity for those interested in working in behavioral health, where every day brings new challenges and achievements. Employees are supported through career path programs with clear milestones, referral bonuses, free continuing education, CPR and safety training, and a comprehensive employee assistance program offering financial advice, counseling support, and mental health resources. Nationally connected virtual offices and community events bring colleagues together, creating an engaging work environment that values collaboration and growth. ABS Kids is not only a workplace but a community devoted to making a difference in children’s lives.
