The Rack Beauty Concierge acts as a vital bridge between Nordstrom’s extensive beauty product lines and its customers, ensuring a seamless, fun, and informative shopping experience.

As a Rack Beauty Concierge, you will engage customers by sharing your love of beauty trends and comprehensive product knowledge, helping them discover great deals and new favorites. This position requires maintaining an inviting sales floor, which includes keeping merchandise organized, stocked, and accurately ticketed. You will also be responsible for completing inventory processes that support efficient store operations. More importantly, the role requires skillfully handling customer interactions, defusing difficult situations, and providing timely resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will display enthusiasm and a sense of adventure, maintaining a positive outlook while taking accountability and ownership of daily tasks. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively are essential. You will work alongside team members to keep the sales floor re-merchandised, testers filled, and displays orderly throughout the day.

Physical stamina is also a key component of the job, as the role involves continuous movement for 6 to 8 hours per shift with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to manage merchandise. Handling items that can be bulky or awkwardly shaped and occasionally lifting weights up to 25 pounds is part of the daily routine.

This position is hourly, with a pay range of approximately $15.85 to $16.45 per hour, depending on location, experience, and skills. Performance-based incentives and bonuses may also be available.
