The Beauty Advisor (BA) role at Ulta Beauty is a pivotal position responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience. The BA engages guests to understand their individual beauty needs, assists with product inquiries, performs cashier tasks, and ensures the sales floor is well-stocked and inviting. Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink
- Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging guests, personalizing service, answering questions, informing about promotions, and recommending products and services
- Handle customer service, sales, refunds, exchanges, and assist with online orders
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and enhance guest experience
- Book appointments and support in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience and meet sales goals
- Stay informed about new and existing products and services, including ingredients and benefits
- Maintain prompt and regular attendance
- Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and guests
- Promote the guest loyalty program including credit and the Ulta Beauty app
- Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business
- Participate in ongoing training for professional development and sales performance
