Job Requirements

High school diploma preferred
At least 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
Passion for guest service and selling
Proficiency with basic technology including POS systems and Apple devices
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical capability to stand, bend, pull, push, reach, twist frequently and lift up to 25 pounds during shift

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty including credit, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink
Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging them, personalizing service, answering product and service questions, informing about promotions and sales, and recommending complementary products and services
Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, exchanges, and assist with online orders
Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and enhance guest service experience
Book appointments and support the execution of services and in-store events while meeting sales goals
Stay informed about new and existing products and services to better serve guests
Maintain store cleanliness including salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area
Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business
Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, dress code, and loss prevention best practices
Keep assigned work areas stocked, signed, and faced with testers available
Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory, and shipment processing
Execute other operational tasks as directed
