Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- one year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
- demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling
- proficient with basic technology such as point of sale system and Apple devices
- ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- ability to troubleshoot
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink
- ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging guests, personalizing service, answering questions, informing about promotions, and recommending products and services
- handle customer service tasks including sales, refunds, exchanges, and assisting with online orders
- perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and enhance guest experience
- book appointments and support in-store events to deliver exceptional guest experiences and meet sales goals
- stay informed on new and existing products and services, understanding their ingredients and benefits
- maintain prompt, regular attendance
- contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates and guests
- share benefits of the guest loyalty program including credit and the Ulta Beauty app
- collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business
- participate in ongoing training for brand and category education
- ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards
- adhere to the dress code
- keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced with available testers
- maintain store cleanliness including salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area
- participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing and advertising displays, inventory procedures, and shipment processing
- follow loss prevention best practices and protect company assets
- execute other operational tasks as directed
