This role is for a Housekeeping Attendant who will be primarily responsible for cleaning, stocking, and providing turn-down services in guest rooms. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the guest experience by ensuring every room is impeccably maintained and amenity supplies are replenished regularly. In addition to cleaning duties, this position involves assisting the Lobby Attendant in fulfilling guest requests and supporting public area upkeep when necessary. This is an integral position within the housekeeping department that reports to the Director of Housekeeping and the Housekeeping Supervisory team. The role requires physical stamina and attention to detail, involving frequent walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, and pushing carts that may weigh up to 100 pounds. Ideal candidates should have some prior experience or be willing to learn the intricacies of hospitality cleaning standards.

This role requires a strong eye for detail to visually inspect rooms for appearance and ensure readiness for new arrivals.

Collaborative skills are essential, as the position involves regular coordination with other housekeeping staff and direct assistance to the Lobby Attendant in delivering guest requests promptly and efficiently. Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, climbing stairs, crouching, bending, stooping, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Good near and far vision
  • Ability to hear and talk frequently
  • Ability to smell
  • Ability to work standing and moving frequently

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide turn-down service by partially removing and storing bedspreads, replenishing amenities, linens, and supplies and filling ice buckets as preferred by guest
  • Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents
  • Strip and make beds, changing bed linens
  • Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves
  • Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms
  • Vacuum room, and empty trash
  • Sign for keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms, and restock heavy cart
  • Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify cleaning completion
  • Assist Lobby Attendant in delivering items requested by guest
  • Assist Lobby attendant in public areas as needed
