With a focus on guest satisfaction and attention to detail, the hotel prides itself on maintaining a welcoming environment through dedicated staff and high standards of housekeeping.
The role being offered is that of a Guest Room Attendant, a vital position within the housekeeping department. This opportunity is suitable for individuals passionate about maintaining cleanliness and contributing to the overall guest experience. The Guest Room Attendant responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms thoroughly, replenishing amenities, providing turn-down services, and assisting in public areas as needed. Additionally, the role involves working closely with the lobby attendant to fulfill guest requests efficiently.
A typical day in this position involves various cleaning tasks such as stripping and making beds, dusting furniture, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming floors, and managing supplies. The attendant must ensure that each guest room meets the quality and cleanliness standards expected by the hotel. The role requires frequent physical activity, including walking, climbing stairs, bending, pushing, and lifting, and demands excellent attention to detail and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
The position reports to the Director of Housekeeping and other senior housekeeping staff, ensuring a structured environment with clear communication channels. While previous experience in a housekeeping role is preferred, it is not mandatory, making this job accessible to those new to the industry who are eager to learn and grow.
This full-time role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic hotel team that values dedication and professionalism. The environment is guest-focused, fast-paced, and rewarding for those who take pride in their work. Comprehensive training is provided to equip new hires with the skills necessary to excel and advance in their hospitality careers.
