The Bartender is responsible for preparing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with attention to quality and presentation, strictly adhering to alcohol serving laws and internal safety standards. This position involves direct interaction with members and guests, providing courteous, timely service and addressing any questions or requests professionally. In addition to drink preparation, the Bartender maintains cleanliness and organization at the bar, replenishes supplies as needed, and handles routine cash register reconciliation at the end of shifts. Employment is hourly with wages ranging from $16.50 to $19.50 per hour based on experience and qualifications. This role also demands physical stamina as the Bartender must be able to lift over 20 pounds repetitively and remain on their feet for extended periods throughout the shift. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 2 years of bartending experience
- Certified to serve alcohol
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
- Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the cafe for prolonged periods of time
Job Qualifications

- Certified to serve alcohol
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
- Experience with inventory and ordering preferred
Job Duties
- Follow recipes in order to appropriately prepare cocktails and other drinks including adding garnish
- Serve members and customers in a timely fashion including checking identification accepting payment and answering any questions that may arise
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning bar surface furniture and equipment and returning used dishware to the bar or kitchen
- Maintain supplies by re-stocking liquors wines beer and non-alcoholic ingredients and replacing beer barrels
- Reconcile the bar's cash register at the end of the shift
