Job Requirements
- No formal education required
- Prior customer service or concierge experience desired
- Valid drivers' license in good standing
- Ability to pedal a pedicab carrying up to 500lbs for up to 8 hours a day
- Ability to serve guest needs via phone, computer and face-to-face communication
- Ability to use discretion handling confidential or sensitive information

Job Duties
- Transports guests and their beach gear using provided pedicab
- Gathers, loads and secures beach gear such as towels, chairs, surfboards
- Ensures guests are properly seated in pedicab
- Follows all traffic and safety rules while transporting
- Assists with setup of chairs and umbrellas at beach
- Cleans and replaces items to proper storage upon return
- Keeps pool area tidy by picking up used towels and stocking fresh towels
- Delivers towels to guests upon request
- Assists with clearing used dishes and trash
- Keeps pedicabs clean and performs minor maintenance and repair
- Welcomes guests enthusiastically and professionally in person or by phone
- Provides information about property and surrounding area, including special events
- Maintains knowledge of local entertainment, tours, and points of interest
- Provides information about transportation, tickets, and directions
- Directs guests to rooms and facilities using hotel map
- Communicates with other departments to fulfill guest needs
- Resolves guest conflicts with patience, tact and diplomacy
- Collects accurate information and keeps supervisors informed of issues
- Up-sells services, amenities and restaurants at the property
- Enters information into computer system, collects funds, and runs reports
- Seeks opportunities to maximize revenue
