Job Requirements

No formal education required
Prior customer service or concierge experience desired
Valid drivers' license in good standing
Ability to pedal a pedicab carrying up to 500lbs for up to 8 hours a day
Ability to serve guest needs via phone, computer and face-to-face communication
Ability to use discretion handling confidential or sensitive information

Job Duties

Transports guests and their beach gear using provided pedicab
Gathers, loads and secures beach gear such as towels, chairs, surfboards
Ensures guests are properly seated in pedicab
Follows all traffic and safety rules while transporting
Assists with setup of chairs and umbrellas at beach
Cleans and replaces items to proper storage upon return
Keeps pool area tidy by picking up used towels and stocking fresh towels
Delivers towels to guests upon request
Assists with clearing used dishes and trash
Keeps pedicabs clean and performs minor maintenance and repair
Welcomes guests enthusiastically and professionally in person or by phone
Provides information about property and surrounding area, including special events
Maintains knowledge of local entertainment, tours, and points of interest
Provides information about transportation, tickets, and directions
Directs guests to rooms and facilities using hotel map
Communicates with other departments to fulfill guest needs
Resolves guest conflicts with patience, tact and diplomacy
Collects accurate information and keeps supervisors informed of issues
Up-sells services, amenities and restaurants at the property
Enters information into computer system, collects funds, and runs reports
Seeks opportunities to maximize revenue
