Job Description

The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions is a key state agency dedicated to enhancing workforce development through innovative programs and initiatives. One such initiative is the Be Pro Be Proud New Mexico program (BPBP), a workforce effort designed to attract students and young adults to technical careers. Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree and two years of experience in program administration or project management
  • any combination of education and/or direct experience totaling four years may substitute the required education and experience
  • must possess or obtain Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico within six months of hire
  • must pass a background check
  • ability to travel extensively including overnight stays
  • ability to work extra hours and on some weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent education and experience
  • two years of experience in program administration or project management
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • strong organizational and project management skills
  • excellent communication and time management skills
  • administrative and technical abilities

Job Duties

  • Manage and provide oversight of the Be Pro Be Proud (BPBP) mobile tour unit
  • coordinate tour schedules to schools and community events
  • coordinate with local workforce staff to provide staff coverage at all tour stops
  • oversee the BPBP budget
  • manage logistics and maintenance of the mobile tour unit
  • develop and manage contracts
  • maintain strong external partnerships to support BPBP mission
