With a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive working environment, Stonhard is dedicated to attracting and retaining skilled professionals who contribute to its long-standing success.
The Production Batchmaker plays a crucial role within Stonhard’s manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for blending and mixing various pigments, resins, hardeners, and other raw material additives to produce high-quality in-process batches according to approved batch instruction sheets. Precision and attention to detail are essential to ensure batches meet quality standards with minimal corrections. The Production Batchmaker handles the staging and preparation of raw materials, maintains cleanliness and orderliness in the batch-making area, and ensures proper storage of inventories in accordance with company policies. This role requires a solid understanding of raw material storage tanks, valves, piping, and the operational flow to optimize mixing efficiency and productivity. Effective communication with supervisors and quality control personnel is key to the role, particularly for reporting material shortages, spills, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns. Adherence to safety protocols is paramount, especially due to the handling of inorganic metal-based powdered pigments, necessitating hygiene adjustments and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $21.00 to $23.00, based on qualifications and experience. Employees enjoy not only compensation but also an excellent comprehensive health plan, paid holidays, paid time off, and financial benefits including 401(k) plans with company matching, a company pension plan, and stock purchase plans. Stonhard is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace where qualified applicants receive fair consideration regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, or disability. The Production Batchmaker position is ideal for individuals with a background in chemistry or manufacturing who are driven, organized, and safety-conscious, seeking to contribute to a dynamic team within a reputable global enterprise.
