Job Requirements

  • High school certification
  • 1-2 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to routinely lift 50 pounds
  • Able to perform duties in a high stress and pressure environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Basic mathematical skills including measurements and formulas
  • Ability to obtain and sustain forklift certification
  • Willingness to work Monday to Friday 5:00 am to 1:30 pm with flexibility for overtime and weekends
  • Ability to follow health and safety policies and GMPs
  • Commitment to food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain sanitation and clean equipment
  • Ability to work in fast-paced production plant environment
  • Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment
  • Ability to handle physical demands including stooping, kneeling, crouching, walking, driving forklift, and climbing stairs or ladders

Job Qualifications

  • High school certification
  • 1-2 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience in a high-speed beverage production environment preferred
  • Formal training in SAP, HACCP, GMP, and hygiene preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds routinely
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Good mathematical knowledge including measurements and formulas
  • Ability to follow quality improvement procedures
  • Attention to detail
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain it
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to analyze data and optimize production
  • Participation in safety audits and inspections

Job Duties

  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures, good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and wear required personal protective equipment
  • Ensure compliance with food quality and safety standards including FDA, HACCP, GMP, Allergen, Kosher and SQF
  • Handle ingredients, maintain filters, and prepare product for bottling by mixing ingredients accurately according to company procedures and SAP
  • Supply production line with blended products timely to maximize product recovery
  • Transport ingredients and pre-weigh by forklift as required
  • Verify ingredients against SAP, food safety, and inventory parameters before batching
  • Program bulk ingredient delivery systems
  • Follow batching/blending sheets instructions and record amounts accurately
  • Obtain blend tank samples and collaborate with quality department for adjustments
  • Maintain sanitation and cleaning of batching/blending area and perform CIP/COP sanitation of equipment
  • Remove empty barrels and bins to designated storage
  • Receive and unload tankers of bulk concentrates when necessary
  • Report non-compliance, product protection, food safety, and safety issues to management
