Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be 21 years of age for positions serving alcohol
  • Ability to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Experience in a fast-paced retail or food service environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to maintain composure during busy periods
  • Basic math skills for cash handling
  • Positive attitude and integrity
  • Ability to train and coach team members

Job Duties

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health department and weights and measures requirements
  • Deliver legendary customer service by prioritizing the customer and connecting with their needs
  • Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently adhering to recipe and presentation standards
  • Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
  • Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events to support a clean and comfortable store environment
  • Anticipate customer and store needs proactively
  • Follow Bashas' operational policies including cash handling and safety and security protocols
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments
  • Assist with new member training by providing positive coaching
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned
