The Westside Pub, part of the Tilray Beer family located in Bend West, Oregon, is expanding its management team and seeking a Shift Manager who will also serve as a Bartender/Server. This hybrid role blends front-of-house management responsibilities with hands-on guest service duties, ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic hospitality environments. As the Shift Manager and Bartender/Server, you will manage shifts to ensure smooth operations, inspiring and motivating your team to deliver excellent guest experiences. You will be responsible for overseeing the front-of-house staff, ensuring compliance with company standards related to food and beverage service, and maintaining a safe, inviting atmosphere throughout shifts.
Your role includes running opening, mid, and closing shifts as the Manager-On-Duty (MOD), handling guest concerns with professionalism, and sustaining a welcoming pub ambiance through attention to lighting, music, glassware quality, and food presentation. You will also be in charge of critical operational duties such as completing end-of-shift reports on labor, food control, and sales, complying with OSHA and local health codes, and enforcing sanitation, security, and safety standards. This position demands someone who is customer service-driven, highly motivated, able to multitask under pressure, and equipped with strong verbal communication skills. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending or serving experience
- Management or supervisory experience in hospitality preferred
- Ability to work day and night shifts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of OSHA and health and safety regulations
- Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
- Must be at least 21 years of age

Job Duties
- Run opening, mid, and closing shifts as the manager-on-duty for 1-2 shifts per week, plus additional as needed
- Address all guest issues while acting as the manager-on-duty
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and secure revenues
- Maintain ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement
- Monitor food presentation and service
- Write end-of-shift reports covering daily labor, food control, and sales
