The Bartender/Server role at Sunriver Resort is integral in maintaining the high standards of service that the Crosswater Grille is known for. This position focuses on both mixing and serving drinks as well as attending to guests with food and beverage orders. The role involves acting as a critical link between the kitchen and the guests, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. The Bartender/Server not only takes orders and delivers food and beverages but also upholds the resort's dynamic service culture by incorporating guest preferences, dietary restrictions, and special requests into their service. In this position, the successful candidate is expected to maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, beverages, cocktail recipes, and wine pairings, helping guests make informed and memorable dining choices. The Bartender/Server is also responsible for monitoring the guest experience, promptly responding to their needs, and using creative selling techniques to enhance the overall stay. Beyond service, maintaining cleanliness and organization in bar and service areas, accurate handling of payments, proper adherence to safety and OLCC regulations, and meticulous attention to ordering and stock replenishment are vital aspects of the role.
