Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of bartending or relevant food and beverage experience
- Solid understanding of cocktail production and alcohol service regulations
- Proficiency in handling cash and point-of-sale transactions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced settings
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Job Qualifications
- At least 5 years previous experience as a bartender or in a food and beverage role with emphasis on high volume and professional operation
- Strong knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, cocktail production, history, recipes, mixing, garnishing, and serving techniques
- Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately using point-of-sale systems
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of alcohol safety regulations
- Commitment to respecting and taking service seriously
Job Duties
- Mix, pour, and serve our menu to exact specifications
- Set up and stock the bar with necessary beverages, mixers, polished glassware, and supplies before each event
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and follow established guidelines for responsible beverage service
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing prompt and courteous service
- Process guest payments accurately using point-of-sale systems
- Polish glassware
- Restock bar supplies and beverages as needed throughout the shift
- Ensure proper handling of cash and credit transactions
- Assist with inventory management and report any shortages or discrepancies
- Follow opening and closing procedures, including cleaning bar equipment and securing stock
- Handle guest inquiries or complaints promptly, ensuring a positive guest experience
