Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a bartender or server preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Knowledge of standard drink recipes
  • Capability to maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety standards
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be energetic and dependable
  • Must be team oriented

Job Duties

  • Understand our culture and do whatever it takes to create a positive and memorable guest experience
  • Make food and drink recommendations to guests and answer all menu- and service-related questions
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in with each guest regularly and anticipating their needs
  • Complete side work and other responsibilities during and after your shift
  • Go above and beyond in helping coworkers achieve the ultimate goal of giving each guest a perfect night out
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
  • Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer questions about drink selections
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods
  • Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed
  • Uphold high standards of customer service while creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new Melting Pot cocktail recipes to enhance the drink menu
