Currently, MetroLagoons is seeking part-time bartenders for the upcoming 2026 spring and summer seasons. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy engaging with a diverse clientele. The bartenders will work across various shifts from morning to night during the peak season, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Comprehensive training and certification will be provided to ensure bartenders meet high standards of service and comply with all safety and regulatory guidelines. The position requires an enthusiastic, customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills who takes pride in delivering exceptional service. Bartenders at MetroLagoons are responsible for crafting classic and innovative beverages that exceed customer expectations while ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming atmosphere. This role is critical in promoting guest loyalty and enhancing the overall lagoon experience, making every visit feel like a festive celebration under the sun. Job Requirements

Ability to work outside in all-weather elements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
At least 18 years of age
Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to provide excellent customer service
Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
Able to comply with food and beverage regulations

Job Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalent preferred
At least 18 years of age (21+ preferred)
Food and Beverage Safety certifications (We will provide certification if needed)
Previous bartender experience required – 2 years of experience preferred
Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
Outstanding communication, customer service and cash handling skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Experience using Focus or similar POS system a plus
Energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable
Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Shifts may vary based on business needs

Job Duties

Provide exceptional customer service and promote positive guest experience
Prepare and serve both non-alcohol and alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guests
Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks
Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
Plan and present bar menu
Check IDs to ensure appropriate customers meets legal drinking age
Monitor guest consumption of alcohol, following all company and state guidelines
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Other duties as needed
