Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous hospitality experience
at least 2 years of bartending experience in a high volume bar or restaurant
knowledge of cocktail crafting and mixology fundamentals
excellent customer service skills
strong verbal and written communication skills
proficiency in using technology such as tablets, iPads, computers, and POS systems
ability to work effectively within a team environment
capacity to work quickly and maintain cleanliness and organization
strong sense of ownership and responsibility
physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods, bend, lift and pull up to 50 lbs
ability to communicate clearly
willingness to work long hours as needed
capability to make sound judgments quickly
aptitude for multitasking and meeting deadlines
ability to work independently and provide direction
manage differing personalities with professionalism
maintain confidentiality
work effectively under high-pressure and stressful situations
problem-solving skills including anticipation, prevention, and resolution of workplace challenges

Job Qualifications

High school diploma, equivalent, or higher
previous hospitality experience
2 years of bartending experience in high volume bar or restaurant
general knowledge of cocktail crafting and mixology fundamentals
excellent customer service skills
strong communications skills, both verbal and written
ability to use technology, e.g., tablets, iPads, computers, and POS
experience working on a team
ability to work quickly in a clean, organized, and effective manner
a sense of ownership in everything that you do

Job Duties

Serve guests in an efficient manner while following steps of service, preparing cocktails, pouring beer and wine, and making beverage recommendations
food running to serve bar and bar area guests
prep and stock bar for appropriate service period to ensure successful bar service
clean glasses, tools, utensils, and bar equipment
maintain knowledge of current menu offerings, including ingredients, preparations, and accompaniments
curate guests' bar experience by making recommendations based on guest preferences and needs
maintain knowledge of beverages including beer, wine, and liquor
collect and process payment for food and beverages served, making sure to follow proper cash handling procedures
maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area and coolers
other necessary duties as reasonably assigned
