Job Requirements

  • Able to serve alcohol according to state law
  • Able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of the work location
  • Able to perform simple mathematical calculations related to money handling
  • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to five hours
  • Good sense of balance and physical ability to bend, kneel, and lift objects frequently weighing up to 25 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of food and beverage menus and drink recipes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Act as an effective salesperson by understanding and recommending food and beverage menus, specials, and promotions
  • Provide exceptional guest service ensuring each guest feels appreciated
  • Practice the 'Hospitality Halo' with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members
  • Work collaboratively with all team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
  • Communicate clearly and enthusiastically with guests maintaining self-composure at all times
  • Greet guests promptly and serve food and beverages in a timely and organized manner
  • Maintain knowledge of service sequences, drink recipes, bar accounting procedures, and quality standards
