Job Requirements

Six months or more experience bartending
Accurate cash handling skills
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
Bartending school preferred

Job Qualifications

Six months or more experience bartending

Job Duties

Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent in areas of guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and state/federal regulations
Learn and have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages
Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
Contact a management member if unable to resolve or make a decision beyond standard decision-making
Request additional product or restock product as required
Handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank at bar
Maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
