Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years bartending experience in a luxury or full service restaurant setting
- Knowledge of mixology and beverage trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours continuously
- Ability to lift 20 to 50 pounds
- Availability to work 2-4 shifts weekly including weekends
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation policies
- Willingness to maintain bar cleanliness and organization
Job Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in a full service restaurant or luxury hotel restaurant
- Knowledge of current trends in the mixology and bar industry
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Understanding of safety and sanitation protocols
- Ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds
- Flexible availability including weekends
Job Duties
- Provide professional, friendly and engaging service consistently
- Assist guests with beverage menu items in an informative manner
- Mix drinks and control beverage stock according to guidelines
- Maintain full knowledge of beverage lists, promotions, menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
- Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
- Take and enter food and beverage orders into the point-of-sale system
- Deliver food and beverages promptly to guests
- Follow safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
- Keep the bar clean and organized
- Maintain inventory and complete daily requisitions
- Promote a favorable image of the hotel
- Foster a cooperative and harmonious working relationship with all employees
