Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
bartending experience
ability to follow state, federal and corporate liquor regulations
ability to stand for extended periods
legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and events as needed

Bartending experience
knowledge of liquor laws and regulations
strong customer service skills
ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
good communication and interpersonal skills
ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
flexibility to perform multiple roles as assigned

Job Duties

Set up assigned bars
requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, cupware, ice and produce
maintain stock, prepare, cure and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality
greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner
take and/or process orders for drinks
mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes
practice prudent portion control
check guests at the bar for proper identification
detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained
demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws
lock up and store all beverage product, food, equipment items
perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
keep work area clean and organized
arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area
perform end of event consumption and/or inventory duties
perform other duties as assigned including attending to the buffet, bar backing, and passed cocktail service when assigned
