Job Duties
- Meet the company standard for excellent guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state/federal regulations
- Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products
- Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
- Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages
- Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
- Contact management if unable to resolve or make a decision beyond standard scope
- Request additional product or restock product as required
- Accurately ring up the customer
- Maintain clean and sanitary work station
- Ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- Assist with set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and organize the cooler
