Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • legal age to serve alcoholic beverages as per state and federal law
  • prior bartending or beverage service experience preferred
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to check guest identification accurately
  • must be able to stand and move for extended periods
  • availability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide beverage service
  • serve alcoholic drinks in compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • learn and suggestively upsell various beers, wines and spirits
  • pour drinks responsibly following company serving size standards
  • verify guest IDs according to legal minimum age requirements
  • communicate cut-off to guests when necessary
  • respond and listen to customer requests or concerns
  • de-escalate intoxicated or confrontational guest situations and contact management or security if required
  • request management assistance when decisions exceed standard scope
  • restock and manage bar products
  • accurately ring up customer purchases
  • maintain clean and sanitary work station
  • ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • assist with setup and breakdown of bar equipment and cooler organization
  • perform other assigned duties as needed
