Job Requirements

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be of legal drinking age as required by state or federal regulations
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members
  • Previous experience in bartending or beverage service preferred
  • Knowledge of alcohol laws and responsible beverage service
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to handle physical demands including standing for long periods
  • Availability to work on scheduled event days

Job Duties

  • Meet the company standard for excellent guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
  • Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide accurate beverage service
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Maintain knowledge of various beer, wine, and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
  • Verify guest IDs to ensure legal age for alcohol purchase
  • Communicate cut-offs to guests as required
  • Listen and respond effectively to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • Request additional or restock product as needed
  • Accurately ring up customers
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation at all times
  • Ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • Perform additional duties such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization as required
