Job Requirements

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be of legal drinking age as required by state or federal regulations
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members
Previous experience in bartending or beverage service preferred
Knowledge of alcohol laws and responsible beverage service
Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Ability to handle physical demands including standing for long periods
Availability to work on scheduled event days

Job Duties

Meet the company standard for excellent guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide accurate beverage service
Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and compliance with state and federal regulations
Maintain knowledge of various beer, wine, and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
Verify guest IDs to ensure legal age for alcohol purchase
Communicate cut-offs to guests as required
Listen and respond effectively to customer requests or concerns
De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
Request additional or restock product as needed
Accurately ring up customers
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation at all times
Ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
Perform additional duties such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization as required
