Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • experience in bar or restaurant industry preferred
  • ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of safe and proper beer pouring techniques
  • willingness to learn about beer styles and brewing
  • ability to follow health and safety regulations
  • capacity to work flexible hours and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working in the bar or restaurant industry preferred
  • must be 21 years or older
  • ability to work quickly, efficiently, and safely
  • enthusiastic and knowledgeable about beer including ability to explain nuances of various beer styles
  • personal integrity, people skills, enthusiasm, and professionalism
  • hands-on learner comfortable with multitasking
  • Cicerone Level 1 Beer Server Certification preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Pour and serve beer using proper techniques
  • sell beer and merchandise by demonstrating expertise and practicing top-notch hospitality
  • maintain a clean and tidy taproom and bar area including bussing tables, cleaning spills, taking out trash, wiping counters, hourly restroom checks
  • run food orders from the kitchen to guest tables
  • adhere to all legal, health, and safety guidelines and requirements
  • operate payment systems efficiently
  • clean, rotate, and re-stock glassware behind the bar
  • re-stock bar and merchandise as necessary
  • flip and change out empty kegs
  • attend and participate in team meetings and trainings
  • perform additional duties as directed by the Lead Bartender or Manager
