Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- Capability to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to stand or walk 100% of shift
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep, and wipe frequently
- Ability to read and write handwritten notes
- Willingness to work in noisy, fast-paced environments
- Must adhere to company dress code and maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous restaurant or bar experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Ability to read and write in English
- Customer service orientation
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems preferred
- Ability to operate Micros system
- Ability to follow company sanitation and safety protocols
- Ability to handle alcohol responsibly
- Friendly and approachable personality
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks, and games
- Keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or significant matters
- Create a warm and fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- Adhere to company sanitation procedures
- Maintain personal bank and ensure financial transactions are accurate
- Follow alcohol awareness procedures and manage intoxicated guests
- Assess guest demeanor and alert manager when necessary
- Follow bar recipes to ensure consistency and cost control
- Keep station clean and set up/tear down as needed
- Greet guests promptly and take food and drink orders accurately
- Maintain thorough menu knowledge
- Enter orders into Micros system correctly
- Complete station side work at beginning and end of shift
- Operate Micros system and manage credit card transactions accurately
- Deliver food and drinks to designated areas
- Work efficiently with the 'full hands in, full hands out' philosophy
- Participate in sales incentives and brand promotions
- Complete bar inventories and requisitions
- Perform opening and closing duties timely
- Assist with party set up and breakdown
- Support team members as needed
- Buss and reset tables
- Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and respond promptly
- Maintain positive working relationships with team members
- Communicate effectively with guests and team verbally and via Micros system
- Maintain friendly demeanor and frequent smiling
