Located in Parkland, Washington, Trapper's Sushi is bringing its fun, fast-paced, and high-energy bar experience to this new location, aiming to become a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike. The establishment combines a unique blend of quality sushi offerings with an engaging bar environment, making it a dynamic place for both casual gatherings and special occasions. The team culture at Trapper's Sushi emphasizes teamwork, respect, accountability, passion, honesty, and kindness, creating an inclusive and supportive workplace where employees are empowered to thrive and grow.

The role of Bartender at Trapper's Sushi Parkland is integral to delivering the brand's renowned guest experience. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $17.13 per hour plus tips, reflecting the value placed on skilled and personable bartenders. The bartender is responsible for crafting a wide variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and sake, all according to company recipes and standards. Beyond drink preparation, this role involves creating an upbeat and welcoming environment that encourages guests to linger and enjoy their time. Accuracy and speed are essential, as bartenders must manage multiple orders efficiently while maintaining a clean and well-organized bar. Collaboration with front-of-house and back-of-house staff is crucial to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.

In addition to mixing drinks, the bartender handles important responsibilities like verifying age compliance with Washington alcohol service laws and TABC requirements, managing cash and credit transactions properly, and assisting with opening and closing duties such as inventory counts and restocking. This role demands excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for guest service, as bartenders are often the face of the restaurant's social atmosphere. The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude is a must. Physical stamina is also required since the job involves standing for extended periods, lifting supplies, and performing repetitive motions. Applicants should be prepared to work nights, weekends, and holidays, matching the restaurant's busy schedule.

Trapper's Sushi supports its employees with an array of benefits, including medical insurance with 80% employer coverage after 60 days for qualifying hours, a 401(k) plan with company match after one year of service, voluntary dental and vision coverage options, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), paid sick leave in accordance with Washington state laws, employee meal discounts, and opportunities for advancement within the expanding restaurant group. The company fosters a supportive, team-oriented culture where employees are recognized and encouraged to develop their careers. Trapper's Sushi is also proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to fair treatment and inclusivity in all aspects of employment, making it an excellent choice for bartenders looking to grow and succeed in their careers.
