Job Description

Nelson's Green Brier Distillery is an award-winning establishment known for its exceptional bar program and premium spirits. As a rapidly growing company, the distillery presents vast opportunities for career advancement and professional growth within the hospitality and beverage industry. Located in Tennessee, Nelson's Green Brier Distillery has established a reputation for combining traditional craftsmanship with a modern approach, offering visitors a unique tasting and dining experience. The company prides itself on fostering a work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and outstanding customer service.

The full-time bartender role at Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to providing excellent guest experiences. The position emphasizes professionalism, personable interaction, and a deep knowledge of classic cocktails. Bartenders at Nelson’s are responsible for greeting customers, understanding their preferences, and skillfully preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer needs. Aside from drink preparation, bartenders engage with patrons to recommend items from the bar menu, answer questions, and ensure a friendly and efficient service environment.

This role requires a neat appearance, an engaging personality, and an observant, efficient work ethic. Bartenders work in both the bar area and dining room, serving tables and managing drink orders while maintaining compliance with Tennessee’s food and beverage regulations. Working independently or as part of a team, bartenders must be capable of handling busy and lively environments while maintaining excellent communication with customers and coworkers. Safety and sanitation are also paramount, as bartenders are expected to clean and restock the bar before and after each shift, and adhere to all good manufacturing practices for food safety. The role obliges physical stamina as employees will be on their feet most of the shift and may need to perform tasks such as reaching, crouching, and bending.

Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery supports a close-knit team where every member's contribution is valued and where employees are encouraged to develop their skills and grow professionally. This full-time bartender role provides an engaging work atmosphere where passion for mixology and customer service excellence are at the core of daily operations. The company offers training shifts to ensure new hires are well-prepared to meet customer expectations and uphold Nelson’s high standards of quality. Joining this team means becoming part of a respected brand and a unique establishment that takes pride in its heritage and innovative approach to bartending and hospitality.
