Job Requirements
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- ability to stand and walk continuously throughout shifts
- capability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs frequently
- occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling or lifting
- occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
- availability to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- meet grooming and attire standards
- adherence to time and attendance policies
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience
- excellent knowledge of all beverage products
- previous point of sale system experience an asset
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- highly responsible & reliable
- ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- ability to speak, read and write in English
Job Duties
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- assist guests regarding all beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way
- mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines
- have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions specifically sugar cane spirits
- have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
- follow brand policies, procedures and service standards
- follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- follow hotel time and attendance policy
- follow grooming and attire guidelines
- must be available to work flexible shifts including AM, PM, evenings and weekends
- other duties as assigned
