The employment type for this role is part-time with a rotational shift schedule, offering a pay rate of $18.75 per hour.

As a Bartender Tipped at Sodexo, your role will be crucial in delivering exceptional customer service by mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and courteously. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will collaborate closely with wait staff and other team members to ensure timely and accurate service to guests. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests warmly, preparing drinks with attention to detail including proper garnishes, and maintaining a well-stocked and organized bar area. Bartenders at Sodexo must manage inventory accurately, issue purchase requisitions when necessary, and ensure that the bar area is equipped with all necessary tools and products. You will be expected to exhibit a friendly and attentive demeanor at all times and maintain physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing or walking for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and performing repetitive movements. This role demands punctuality, reliability, and a willingness to adapt to different business needs and client requirements. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 1 year related experience
  • ability to make a wide range of drink recipes and mix drinks correctly is preferred
  • must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol or bartend based on local city and state regulations
  • ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time, which may exceed 8 hours
  • ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull
  • frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds
  • must be able to perform repetitive movements
  • attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 1 year related experience preferred
  • ability to make a wide range of drink recipes and mix drinks correctly preferred
  • knowledge of local laws regarding minimum age requirements for serving alcohol
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours and shifts
  • ability to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with appropriate garnishes
  • ensure the assigned bar area is fully equipped with necessary tools and products
  • prepare accurate beginning counts and issue inventory or purchase requisitions to replenish supplies
  • work collaboratively with wait staff and other team members to ensure prompt service
  • maintain friendly, tactful, and attentive interaction with customers
  • perform significant walking or mobility throughout shifts
  • adhere to punctuality and attendance standards
  • lift and move items up to 50 pounds as required
  • perform repetitive movements as part of daily tasks
  • carry out additional duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
