The bartender at Three Peaks Restaurant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while expertly mixing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. This role demands a comprehensive knowledge of drink recipes, equipment maintenance, and adherence to health and safety standards within a lively casino environment. Candidates must be adept at multitasking in a space subject to high noise levels, crowds, and shifting temperatures. The bartender collaborates with the Beverage Manager to ensure all bar equipment is well-maintained and efficiently utilized. A significant part of this role includes managing inventory, monitoring supply levels at assigned bars, and maintaining precise control of the cash bank, ensuring accountability for all financial transactions including overages and shortages.

In addition to serving drinks, the bartender interacts warmly with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable, thus supporting the casino’s vision of superior customer service. This role also involves overseeing barbacks, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bar area, and promptly communicating any issues affecting the property or the guest experience to supervisors. A strong understanding of gaming regulations is essential, as bartenders must secure and maintain a state or tribal gaming license to perform their duties legally. The position requires at least five years of experience in bartending or a related food and beverage role or equivalent progressive training within the department. Candidates must be knowledgeable about currency handling and capable of performing tasks effectively under pressure.
