Live Nation Entertainment is seeking passionate and motivated individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit to join their team as bartenders. This role is perfect for dynamic and resourceful people who thrive in a fast-paced live music environment and are committed to delivering excellent customer experiences. As a bartender, you will interact with guests in a friendly and natural manner, cultivating regular patrons and encouraging repeat business. The position requires the ability to complete a pour test prior to every shift, ensuring beverage preparation meets established standards. Bartenders will be responsible for suggestive selling of both beverages and food items, as well as delivering orders promptly and maintaining priority organization of drink requests.

The role involves consistent preparation of beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications while adhering to all control systems. Bartenders must maintain logs of any equipment failure and safety hazards and act responsibly in recognizing and managing guests who may become intoxicated, including refusing additional alcohol service courteously and notifying management. Strict adherence to responsible alcohol service policies, including requesting proper identification for guests appearing under 30 years of age, is mandatory.

Maintaining health, safety, and sanitation standards within the bar area is essential, along with performing opening, running, and closing duties in line with Live Nation policies. Bartenders are responsible for preparing guest checks, processing payments, managing bartender bank funds, and completing cash pull and check-out procedures. Additional duties include maintaining appropriate comp and spill checks and the opportunity to work special events scheduled throughout the venue.

  • Preferred: 4 years work experience in high volume environment
  • Experience recognizing valid ID's
  • Experience in a live music environment

Job Duties

  • Interact with guests in a natural, friendly demeanor
  • Cultivate regular guests and repeat business
  • Successfully complete a pour test prior to every shift, where applicable
  • Suggestively sell both beverages and menu items to guests at the bar
  • Deliver food items and beverage orders promptly
  • Prioritize and organize drink orders
  • Consistently prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications, abide by all control systems
  • Record any equipment failure and/or safety hazards in bar log
  • Recognize when guests are becoming too intoxicated and refuse further service of alcohol in a courteous and safety-minded manner, bringing it to the attention of a manager
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance alcohol awareness training and Live Nation alcohol policies
  • Request proper identification for anyone appearing under 30 years of age
  • Maintain HOB safety and sanitation standards
  • Perform Opening/Running/Closing duties according to Live Nation policy
  • Prepare guest checks (on point of sales terminal) and process payment according to Live Nation policy
  • Maintain bartender bank
  • Perform cash pull / check out procedures
  • Maintain appropriate Comp and Spill checks
  • Required to occasionally work Special Events that are scheduled throughout the venue
