Job Requirements

  • Previous bartender experience required (min 2 year)
  • Minimum age 21 or older, based on applicable state and local requirements
  • Available to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holiday shifts (condition of employment)
  • Ability to balance and carry multiple food and beverage items
  • Able to competently operate the POS and beverage equipment
  • Continuous standing, bending and lifting up to 25 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Previous bartender experience of minimum 2 years
  • Knowledge of beer styles and menu items
  • Ability to prepare cocktails and operate beverage equipment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Experience using POS systems
  • Positive attitude and teamwork orientation

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests to The Brass Tap
  • Follow The Brass Tap steps of service for taking and serving orders
  • Be beer and menu knowledgeable to suggest beers and describe menu items
  • Prepare beer, wine and cocktails to recipe procedures
  • Present guest check and take payment
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures
  • Keep bar station and service areas clean and organized
  • Complete duties without constant supervision
