Job Requirements
- Previous bartender experience required (min 2 year)
- Minimum age 21 or older, based on applicable state and local requirements
- Available to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holiday shifts (condition of employment)
- Ability to balance and carry multiple food and beverage items
- Able to competently operate the POS and beverage equipment
- Continuous standing, bending and lifting up to 25 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartender experience of minimum 2 years
- Knowledge of beer styles and menu items
- Ability to prepare cocktails and operate beverage equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Experience using POS systems
- Positive attitude and teamwork orientation
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests to The Brass Tap
- Follow The Brass Tap steps of service for taking and serving orders
- Be beer and menu knowledgeable to suggest beers and describe menu items
- Prepare beer, wine and cocktails to recipe procedures
- Present guest check and take payment
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Keep bar station and service areas clean and organized
- Complete duties without constant supervision
