South Coast Botanic Garden is a stunning 87-acre destination located on a reclaimed sanitary landfill, symbolizing nature's power to regenerate and transform.   • ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in a professional setting
  • serve safe food handler certification (required)
  • tips alcohol certification or equivalent (required)
  • must meet California's legal minimum age requirement to serve alcohol
  • additional education, training or certifications in bartending or food service are a plus

Job Duties

  • mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards
  • interact with guests professionally, take orders and provide attentive service
  • comply with all food and beverage regulations, including alcohol service laws
  • prepare, serve and store food and beverages according to safety guidelines
  • operate point of sale (POS) systems to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
  • set up concession trailers and bars for service
  • ensure the bar is well-stocked, clean and organized during service
  • follow company protocols for serving alcohol responsibly and securely store alcohol when not in use
  • maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to food safety regulations
  • work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations
  • perform additional duties as assigned
