South Coast Botanic Garden is a stunning 87-acre destination located on a reclaimed sanitary landfill, symbolizing nature's power to regenerate and transform. Job Requirements
- strong knowledge of bartending techniques and beverage crafting
- excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- exceptional time management and organizational skills

- availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (e.g., heat, cold, rain, nighttime)
- professional appearance and grooming appropriate for the role
- experience in operating point of sale (POS) systems in a fast-paced environment
- basic math and computer skills
- ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in a professional setting
- serve safe food handler certification (required)
- tips alcohol certification or equivalent (required)
- must meet California's legal minimum age requirement to serve alcohol
- additional education, training or certifications in bartending or food service are a plus
Job Duties
- mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards
- interact with guests professionally, take orders and provide attentive service
- comply with all food and beverage regulations, including alcohol service laws
- prepare, serve and store food and beverages according to safety guidelines
- operate point of sale (POS) systems to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- set up concession trailers and bars for service
- ensure the bar is well-stocked, clean and organized during service
- follow company protocols for serving alcohol responsibly and securely store alcohol when not in use
- maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to food safety regulations
- work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations
- perform additional duties as assigned
