Job Requirements

  • Must have ability to lift 40 lbs
  • Must be able to work or stand be on your feet for long periods of time in a fast pace environment
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • The immediate work environment is a smoking environment
  • Noise levels moderate to high while working with equipment and if on the casino floor

Job Qualifications

  • Report to work at the assigned scheduled time in proper uniform and appearance
  • Maintain an awareness of company and Beverage department rules policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of all cleaning and chemical supplies needed
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • At least 2 years experience as a bartender working in a large volume bar restaurant or casino bar preferred
  • Prior working experience as a bar back or graduate of Beverage Bartender training school

Job Duties

  • Maintain all assigned equipment in a proper working manner reporting all problems damage and general conditions as required to the Beverage Manager or Beverage Supervisor
  • Greet and assist all guests and employees in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Open assigned bars or outlets at the proper time and to the standard set be at assigned bar or outlet ready to work at the start of your shift
  • Take drink orders from guests and serve in a proper and courteous manner
  • Mix drinks according to set procedures and recipes
  • Ensure all orders are properly entered in the POS computer to the correct profit center ensure attention to detail
  • Assist Beverage Manager and Supervisor in training of new bar backs as required
  • Ensure the bank is in order at the start and at the end of each shift all necessary receipts room charges credit card charges and slot comps are in order
  • All guests visibly looking 30 years old or under must be checked for proper identification to ensure being over the age of 21 before serving an alcoholic beverage
  • All Beverages served at the bars must have a torn computer printout receipt placed in front of the guest
