Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years bartending experience in a high-volume setting
- valid RBS Certification or willingness to obtain within the first week
- ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- strong customer service and communication skills
- physical ability to stand and move for extended periods
- knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations
- ability to handle cash and electronic transactions accurately
- teamwork-oriented mindset
- compliance with all legal age verification guidelines
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience bartending in a high-volume restaurant
- open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to verbally communicate with customers and coworkers
- ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for the duration of shift
- RBS Certification must be obtained within first week of employment for California locations
Job Duties
- Welcome guests and guide patrons to help determine beverage preferences, make recommendations, upsell and take drink orders
- Check identification and strictly follow all ABC guidelines to ensure customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol
- Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages and food orders to customers
- Inform customers about new menu items and specials
- Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked
- Serve food and remove used dishware, cutlery and glassware in a timely fashion
- Carefully assess customer alcohol intake to avoid overserving
- Adhere to all food safety, service, and quality regulations
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register
- Maintain a clean work environment by helping clean the dining area, tables, bar area, including and washing glasses, utensils, and applicable equipment
- Other duties as assigned
