This role is centered around delivering exceptional guest service in a dynamic casino environment. It requires a dedicated individual who monitors guest consumption of alcohol, intervening when necessary according to company guidelines to ensure safety and compliance. The successful candidate will act as an ambassador of goodwill both during work hours and at public relations functions, often appearing in publicity photos. The position includes the promotion of casino events and programs, as well as providing personalized service, including addressing guests by name to foster a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Those in this role resolve service problems with professionalism and according to established guidelines, ensuring guests have a positive experience every time. This person is also responsible for providing fast, friendly, and professional beverage service to casino guests and servers, maintaining a production cycle goal of two minutes or less for a 15-drink tray.

Responsibilities also include preparing and pouring drink orders accurately with proper portions and ingredients, communicating effectively with beverage servers, and presenting drinks politely to guests or servers. The role requires the ability to slice and pit fruit as necessary, operate and maintain all equipment and utensils safely, as well as handle cash register or POS systems efficiently, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and documented according to policy. Teamwork is vital in this position, requiring close collaboration with beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, beverage supervisors, and slot supervisors. Maintaining a clean and well-stocked workstation, following health and safety guidelines, completes the list of duties expected of the candidate.

Job Requirements

Must be 21 years of age
Must obtain and maintain valid state and parish serving permits
Read, write legibly, understand and speak English
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Count money and change correctly
Knows cocktail ingredients and proper mixing and pouring techniques
Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
Able to work in constricting areas
Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights
Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces

Job Duties

Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines
Serves as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions
