Job Description
Kessler Hospitality is a distinguished portfolio of artistically inspired boutique hotels located across Alabama, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Known for its unique design, luxurious accommodations, enriching ambiance, and intuitive service, Kessler Hospitality offers guests an experience steeped in art, music, and cultural influences that are deliberately approachable. Established as the founding member of the Marriott Autograph Collection, Kessler Hospitality introduced seven Autograph Collection branded hotels, each embodying bold, original style with the individual traveler in mind. The hotels range from cutting-edge downtown icons and premier luxury lodges to entertainment destinations and elite ski lodges, all designed to inspire unforgettable experiences.
One of Kessler Hospitality's standout properties is the Grand Bohemian Lodge, perched on the falls of the iconic Reedy River in Downtown Greenville, South Carolina. This AAA Four Diamond boutique lodge offers guests an intimate way to connect with the area's natural wonders. Whether visitors are seeking adventure or relaxation at the luxurious spa, the lodge provides a holistic experience to restore and recharge. The design features floor-to-ceiling windows, earth-inspired details from chandeliers to the wine room, beautiful balconies, and majestic accents that contribute to an immersive environment. Guests can enjoy the outdoor bar and restaurant, Between the Trees, overlooking the Reedy River, as well as the manicured event lawn that showcases Greenville's natural beauty. Amenities such as an onsite spa, art gallery, fitness center, and hiking trails deepen guests' connection to the destination.
The role of Bartender at the Grand Bohemian Lodge is an integral part of delivering the exceptional guest experience the brand is known for. The Bartender is responsible for the complete setup of the bar area and expertly mixing drinks for all guests and servers. This position requires maintaining the service and cleanliness of the bar, ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction, and inventory control over liquor supplies. Attention to detail, adherence to state liquor laws, and the ability to respond promptly and professionally to guest needs are essential. The Bartender maintains a warm and friendly demeanor at all times while being attentive and courteous to guests, managers, and fellow employees. Responsibilities include preparing beverages and cocktails according to the hotel’s standards, following safety rules and policies, and managing the bar area efficiently, including breakdown and storage after functions.
This hourly position demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand throughout the shift and exert physical effort when lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary to effectively interact with guests and team members. Multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines are required for success. The ideal candidate approaches all encounters with a service-oriented mindset, maintains high personal grooming standards in uniform, and complies with all hotel policies to ensure safe and efficient operations. Additional duties may include attending hotel meetings and training sessions, cross-training in other hotel areas, and exercising initiative in anticipating guest and operational needs. This role offers an enriching opportunity to contribute to a luxury boutique hotel experience that combines art, nature, and impeccable hospitality.
