Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Basic math skills
- Able to balance a service tray
- Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- Position requires 10% standing, 90% walking
- Requires very frequent lifting, bending, pushing, twisting, kneeling, climbing, stooping and reaching overhead
- Must be able to respond to touch, speech, smell, aural and visual cues
- Must be able to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 10 (ten) hours in length
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment involving constant internal and external customer contact
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior service experience in an upscale restaurant or lounge
- Knowledge of wine service
- Excellent customer service skills
- Neat, clean appearance
- Excellent and outgoing personality
- Ability to be flexible with scheduling including nights, holidays and weekends
- Requires knowledge of operating point of sale
- Successful completion of alcohol management training
- Certificate from bartender school or equivalent years of experience
Job Duties
- Give prompt, pleasant, courteous and efficient service
- Prepares all beverages utilizing standard portions, ingredients and garnish
- Mixes drinks according to prescribed recipes
- Keeps station stocked with all liquor, glasses and accessories necessary
- Accounts for all beginning cash register bank, all cash, complimentary drinks and charge receipts
- Operates a point of sale, ringing in proper amount into register and giving guest or server correct change
- Resourceful with all beverages, fruit and supplies in order to maintain low beverage costs while assuring quality products
