Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must hold a current Food Handler Card
- Basic experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work varying shifts including nights and weekends
- Basic English proficiency
- Must comply with all health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Hold a current Food Handler Card
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation
- Understanding of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations
- Basic math skills for cash register operation and cash handling
- Basic English writing skills for requisitions and vouchers
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Manual dexterity for drink preparation and garnishing
- Ability to operate beverage equipment such as coffee makers
- Knowledge of menu items to promote and recite
Job Duties
- Greet guests courteously and take orders for drinks
- Mix, garnish and present drinks using standard recipes
- Maintain proper bar set-up daily including stocking supplies
- Prepare and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes and perishables
- Manage cash transactions and verify charges accurately
- Secure bar premises including locking up and cash deposits
- Answer bar phone to take room service orders and input into point of sale
- Perform general cleaning tasks to meet health standards
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Follow safety and security procedures and report unsafe conditions
- Maintain neat and well-groomed appearance according to team standards
- Assist other beverage personnel as needed
- Perform related duties as assigned
