Job Requirements
- Previous bartending experience required
- Ability to work seasonal schedule with availability on weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to perform all essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Willingness to comply with all company policies
- Ability to pass any required background screening
- Must maintain professional and courteous demeanor at all times
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience
- Knowledge of liquor laws and responsible alcohol service
- Ability to work variable seasonal schedule including weekends and holidays
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area
- Ability to detect intoxicated guests and act accordingly
Job Duties
- Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- Sets up assigned bars
- requisitions and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce
- Maintains stock, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality
- Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner
- Takes and/or processes orders for drinks
- mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes
- practices prudent portion control
- Checks guests at the bar for proper identification
- Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained
