Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous bartending experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of SNHD rules and regulations
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to promote and upsell menu items
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance

Job Duties

  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the ordering system
  • Communicate any food allergies or special dietary needs to the kitchen staff
  • Ensure prompt, accurate, and high-quality food service to guests
  • Provide attentive service to guests, including refilling drinks and attending to their needs during meals
  • Mix beverages and serve food to guests, adhering to department policies and procedures
  • Pose for pictures in uniform or designated apparel for promotional activities
  • Participate and dress up in costumes for events and themed parties
  • Consistently provide outstanding service to all guests, maintain a professional demeanor, and engage in friendly dialogue
  • Set up bar for full operation, ensuring all supplies are available
  • Maintain a clean workstation abiding by SNHD standards
  • Accurately describe product details and educate guests on specialty items and offerings
  • Utilize suggestive selling for top products and upselling opportunities
  • Handle credit transactions accurately at the point of sale
  • Provide accurate inventory counts before and after shifts
  • Be a brand advocate, providing guests with accurate venue and menu information
  • Monitor potentially intoxicated or disruptive guests and report to management
  • Respond to guest concerns and resolve complaints positively
  • Maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
