Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Majority of work takes place indoors
  • Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures such as freezers and loading dock
  • Must be flexible to work variable days of the week including weekends and holidays
  • Must be flexible to work variable shifts including days nights and overnights
  • Ten to twelve hour shifts sometimes required

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a bartender preferably in a high-volume bar
  • Experience with computerized cash registers preferred
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet welcome and interact with guests in a warm and friendly manner
  • Take orders prepare drinks according to recipes and serve all food and beverage requests in the bar
  • Demonstrate complete knowledge of the food and beverage menu
  • Prepare the bar for service by ensuring bar supplies garnishes utensils are properly set up in accordance with quality standards
  • Inventory unused liquor and beverages
  • Ensure that all liquor is properly secured before during and at close of shift
  • Adhere to all cash handling and credit card policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all drink orders from servers are accurately rung into the P O S system
  • Clean and reset bartop and tables immediately after guests depart
  • Complete all closing duties and reports as assigned
  • Secure all liquors beers wines coolers cabinets and storage areas
  • Adhere to established safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Adhere to uniform and grooming standards
  • Perform other duties or projects as requested by management
