- previous customer service experience preferred

Job Duties
- Collect money for drinks served
- check identification of customers to verify age requirements
- balance cash receipts
- persuade customers to limit excessive drinking
- order transportation for intoxicated patrons
- clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
- take beverage orders from staff or patrons
- serve wine, liquor, and bottled or draft beer
- clean bars, work areas, and tables
- mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- serve snacks or food items to bar customers
- order or requisition liquors and supplies
- ask disruptive customers to leave or remove them
- slice and pit fruit for drink garnishes
- arrange bottles and glasses for display
- plan, organize, and control bar operations
- supervise bar staff and bartenders
- plan bar menus
- prepare appetizers
- create drink recipes
- prepare beverages for servers and banquets
- assist servers and other employees
- maintain a positive, smiling demeanor
- demonstrate extensive drink and menu knowledge
- follow safety and operational guidelines
- provide the highest quality service
- operate point-of-sale system proficiently
